Palencia is situated in the heart of ‘Castile and Leon’ where the best Spanish is spoken, with a population of about 80.000.

It is a small and pleasant town, where you can walk everywhere.

It has several Universities and the nearest airport is in Valladolid (about 50 km from Palencia), with reasonably-priced Ryan Air flights to London and Dublin.
