Teachers who got jobs at last year's Spainwise Jobs Fair will come along to advise job-seekers on how to get the most out of this year's event. Apart from giving advice about the fair itself, they will answer questions about their experiences of the event, their lives in Spain, and their teaching careers here. What better way to start the day! |

Elspeth has been teaching and training for over 20 years and is Director of Studies at ELI, Seville. She has an MA in Linguistics (TESOL), the Cambridge Delta and most recently the new ICT Trinity Certificate. She is interested in the integration of technology and teaching for all ages and levels of student. |

In this session we will look at the requirements to learn a foreign language and the process students go through when they are learning English. We will discuss the main requirements our students need to meet and what teachers can do both in the classroom and outside the classroom in order to help students learn English effectively and in an enjoyable way. This session will be practical but it will also be reflective with the idea of giving participants some activities they can put into practice with their classes right away but also some points to think about for the future. |

Borja Uruñuela is the Head of Education at St. James Language Center, in Seville. He has been teaching for over 20 years and has written material for Kid’s Box (CUP) and has also written The Busy Bugs Bank 3, 4, 5 & 6 (Macmillan). Borja is President and Head of Training for ACEIA (Asociación de Centros de Enseñanza de Idiomas de Andalucía) and he is also a Cambridge speaking examiner. |

Claire is Director of Teacher Training at Clic, International House Seville. She has been working in ELT since 1992, teaching in Japan and Córdoba before moving to Clic in 1999. She works on Cambridge CELTA and DELTA courses and runs the International House Certificate in Teacher Younger Learners and Teens (IHCYLT). |

We will be looking at everything from ID, health cover and tax issues to how to register a foreign car or vote here. | |

| Workshop: | There is an increasing demand for Very Young Learner courses every year and, for many teachers, whether fresh from their CELTA course or with experience teaching teenagers and adults, this can often be a daunting prospect. In this practical workshop we will give a brief introduction in terms of what to expect and be aware of when teaching very young learners. Particular focus will be placed on classroom management and the use of Jolly Phonics. | |

Michelle Fagan is a Very Young Learners teacher at Idiomaster Montilla, and has been teaching English for over 15 years in Spain. Her experience ranges wide, from very young learners to adults, elementary to advanced levels. Almost everything in fact. Felicity Flynn is the Director of Studies at Tower Academy, Écija and has been teaching since 2006 in both Spain and the UK. She has a CELTA and an MA in Applied Linguistics for ELT, specializing in Facilitator Language and Teacher Training. |
