Albany School of English

Albany School of English is a modern private language school with four schools located in and around the city of Cordoba in Andalucia (Southern Spain). We are also developing a new LANGUAGE CENTRE in the prestigious La Salle school which will open next September.
Albany School was founded in 1984 and currently employs around 25 full time teachers. As a member of ACEIA, The Association of Language Schools for Andalucia, and of FECEI, The National Federation of Private Language Schools in Spain; we are commited to maintaining high standards throughout the organisation.

Albany School regards its teachers as a valuable asset and therefore invests time and resources in ensuring that each teacher feels fully supported during their time with us. A comprehensive development programme is offered which includes compulsory pre-course induction sessions and in-house training sessions throughout the academic year.
In addition, our Directors of Studies and School Coordinators organise weekly sessions for teachers. Occasionally workshops are provided by external guest speakers on a variety of relevant topics; they normally take place in one of the schools. Teachers are offered support and advice as part of their development programme which includes observed lessons. Information on external training events is given where costs can be covered by the school.
