Kids College
Kids College was founded in 2006 by a teacher trainer. It is located in the centre of Ceuta and it comprises two academies.Our Centre is a Trinity College Registered Centre and also trains approximately 80% of the students who seat the GESE and ISE Trinity examinations . Most of our students are from 4 to 16 years old
Each classroom is well equipped with 16 computers ,an interactive whiteboard, projector, and broadband internet access. There is also a video camera and audio recording facilities
The main centre is also equipped with a Roycan Digital Language Laboratory
There are currently 4 EFL teachers who have a degree and a recognised teaching qualification. Most of the classes are in the afternoon and evening from 4.00 pm to 9.00 pm
The contract is for 24 hours per week plus class preparation, administration (i.e. student reports etc...), and attendance of teacher's meetings and training workshops. All teachers have 2 weeks' paid holiday at Christmas and 1 week at Easter as well as all local and national holiays.
We offer a competitive package with a salary in accordance with national pay agreements and full national health and social security cover. Each teacher is also covered by a private accident insurance and civil liability scheme. Contracts are legally binding in accordance to Spanish labour law and are for 9 months from mid-September 2009 to mid-June 2010.
We look for teachers who are enthusiastic, friendly and genuinely enjoy working with children and teenagers. You need to be organised, hard working and with a desire to develop as a teacher. In addition to this, we look for teachers who:
are native English speaking EU nationals.
have a university degree and RSA CELTA/Trinity College TEFL qualification. We also consider applications from teachers with a PGCE qualification and some teaching experience.
The following would certainly be a plus:
a working knowledge of Spanish.
experience of Trinity and/or Cambridge exams.
We are currently looking for 1 teacher to join our team. This person should have experience teaching young-learners and enjoy working with them.
